In December 2009, ALTPRO received the certificate of compliance to EN 50121-3-2:2006 for LOCOMOTIVE MAGNET (BALISE) type LLC 0512. The certificate was issued by the leading independent certification house TÜV Rheinland, Cologne, Germany.

This Locomotive Magnet is used as a part of the ALTPRO's ATP system RAS8385, based on the INDUSI (PZB) principle, the most widespread ATP system worldwide.

ALTPRO is one of four companies worldwide that designs and manufactures the complete ATP system.

After 3 years of implementation of the CENELEC certification process, ALTPRO has got the final Independent Safety Assessment Report for its product generic modular system Digital Multisection Axle Counter type BO23.

The final result of the assessment is the conclusion that the system BO23 fulfills all safety and quality requirements according to CENELEC EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 with the SIL4 level.

Certification process has been performed by the TÜV Rheinland Intertraffic GmbH Germany which is accredited by the Deutscher Akkreditierungs Rat. (final certificate for the Axle Counter BO23).

ALTPRO exhibited at the railway technology fair AFRICARAIL 2009 in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa. ALTPRO was the only representative of the railway industry from Southeastern Europe. 

During the exhibition, ALTPRO made agreements for homologation and delivery of its systems to the market of the RSA. It has also agreed about the cooperation on the development of the RSA railway infrastructure needed for the world soccer championship in RSA.

ALTPRO presented ( October, 9-10, 2008) on the biggest international scientific railway conference in the region ŽELKON 08 in Niš (Serbia). As usually, ALTPRO established many business contacts and the expert public was informed about our products and systems from the area of the railway safety signalling systems.

ALTPRO's presentation on the INNOTRANS 2008 fair in Berlin was very successful. ALTPRO further evolved its position on the railway signalling market through new contacts and by establishing the relationships with the companies and customers all around the world. Multi Section Digital Axle Counter BO23 and Train Detection System UTR products in the railway signalling area are recognized as the main ALTPRO's brands.

After getting the final Certificate of Compliance with "EC Council Directive 2004/108/EC" (issued by TÜV Rheinland InterTraffic) for the product Multisection Axle Counter type BO23, this device become eight global product for which ALTPRO received the CE mark (Multisection Axle Counter type BO23 is the system developed and certified according to the CENELEC standards and norms with the safety integrity level SIL4).

In June 2007, ALTPRO was featured in an article in the "SIGNAL + DRAHT", one the most important publications on the modern safety signalling technology.  The article titled  "New solution for ON/OFF switching of level crossing systems" describes ALTPRO's universal train detection system based on the wheel sensor with the double structure - ZK24. This system is being used as the switch on/switch off point for level crossings, as well as the train detection system for any kind of the railway safety-signalling systems.

ALTPRO’s signalling experts have designed, manufactured and started the deliveries of its universal product "System for switching on/off of the level crossing type UZI1". ALTPRO reached this goal after extensive analysis of the world market and the current customer needs around the world (deliveries of the Train Detection Systems UTR/ITR). This system consists of three or more switching on/off - train detection points, designed as an integrated system that replaces old level-crossing train detection system (either mechanical treadles or magnetic treadles or any other kind of the old train detection system.) 

ALTPRO was showcased in the spring edition of Chinese expert railway magazine RRT. This presentation is part of the ALTPRO's marketing campaign on the Chinese market.

ALTPRO was featured in the last edition of the Chinese railway expert magazine RRT (Road&Rail Technology), The article described ALTPRO safety and signalling programme for railway vehicles and infrastructure. ALTPRO was also featured in the Chinese edition (the November issue) of the specialized magazine RTR (Railway Technical Review).

ALTPRO received full certification according to the EN norms for the safety signalling systems. It is the first company outside of European Union to receive this certificate.

Successful Exibition of Company ALTPRO on the Largest Rail Industry and Technology Fair INNOTRANS 2006 -BERLIN 19.-22. September 2006.  ALTPRO exhibited its new innovative products from the field of railway safety on the biggest fair of railway technology INNOTRANS 2006 in Berlin. The products raised a great interest – more than hundred business conversations, visits from 34 countries from 5 continents. The most interesting conversations were made with representatives of 7 multinational companies that cover almost 100% of world's railway market on which ALTPRO is also present.

In October ALTPRO participated on the railway conference ŽELKON (RAILCON) in Niš (Serbia). ALTPRO presented its products and gave lectures about the new technologies in the railway safety signalling systems. Also, some articles written by ALTPRO's experts were published in the conference collection.

In July/August 2006, ALTPRO published an expert article in the SIGNAL + DRAHT, one the most important publications on the modern safety signalling technology. The article titled "Multiple applications with a single subrack of multi-section axle counter BO23" described the newest technology solution in the area of safety signalling systems for stations and shunting areas. The BO23 system is aa multi-section axle counter especially suitable for use in the station areas with lots of sections.

In last two months ALTPRO was showcased in the three  most important expert publications in railway technology: SIGNAL + DRAHT, IRJ and RAILWAY GAZETTE. 

23. - 24. 03. 2006. - the third international conference of ITHŽ (Engineers and technicians of Croatian railways) in Opatija about modernization of Croatian railways. Presentation of company ALTPRO about it's products on safety systems was noticed and well visited. For the first time on the territory of former Yugoslavia a palette of ETCS products for railway vehicles and infrastructure was presented. The interest of domestic and foreign partners on conference has shown that ALTPRO's position on market of this part of the Europe is definitely well defined.

08.03.2006. - ALTPRO, a full member of UNIFE. attended the conference with representatives of European commission and Parliament. On the agenda, there were topics about development, modernization and model of financing of railways in Europe, which is one of the highest priorities for European commission. The commission's member, Mr. Janez Potočnik (development and research) presentation on current and future projects of railways in Europe showed synergy with intentions of ERRAC (the most important authority of EU on development of railways). The presence of ALTPRO on the conference in Bruxelles showed vitality and development potential of Croatian economy.

ALTPRO is the only company in Croatia and region listed in this Directory. 13.-16.06.2005. - The representatives of MAV (Hungarian railways) have tested the axle counters on five different locations.

06.-11.06.2005. - INPEX - Pittsburgh, USA. Golden medal for the Axle counter BO1 and award of Law office Hanscom. During the exhibition a lot of contacts were made with leading companies in USA in the field of safety and security.

04.06.2005. - Presentation in Dayton (USA) resulted in agreement for the first installation of the Axle counter BO1 in USA

ALTPRO successfully presented its product at the trade fairs in Moscow and Munich.

04/2005 - Certificates of conformity with the requirements of European norms by TÜV Rheiland

ALTPRO exhibited in September 2004 in the HGK (Croatian Chamber of Commerce) booth, on the biggest railway fair in the world INNOTRANS 2004.

On the conference in Stockholm 23.-25. June 2004. ALTPRO became the official member of the UNIFE organization, as the first company from this part of the Europe.
That is the result of ALTPRO's position on the European railway market, and it is also the result of ALTPRO's technological compatibility with world's high-tech firms in safety-signalling system railway product area.
