ALTPRO has received SIL 4 certificate for software of Axle Counter BO23
ALTPRO continuously applies a quality system according to CENELEC EN 50126 ("life cycle").
In accordance with CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129) and the concept of "life cycle" approach to quality system for safety-signalling systems for railways, any change in the software that comes from some specific application must be certified for SIL 4 the same level as the previous basic certificate for basic systems configuration. ALTPRO constantly applies certification of all new versions of application software for multisection axle counter type BO23 for specific markets with specific technical requirements. After such an additional process of certification a new "Safety Assessment Report" is issued for each version of the software and a new certificate.
